The department has been selected to participate in TEQIP (Technical education Quality Improvement Program) of World Bank. The Department as received World Bank grant of Rs 1.5 crores for:

• Modernization of Laboratories, Computer Centre
• Creation of Multimedia resource learning Center / Seminar Room
• Establishment of two centers for advanced learning.
• Center for advanced studies in Database and Information System
• Center for advanced studies in Database and Information System
• Center for formal verification and Model Checking.
